The PhD started in September 2011. Rimante Cox, DTU Byg (DTU Civil Engineering), is the PhD Student with Carsten Rode, DTU Byg as supervisor and Susanne Baslev Nielsen, CFM, as co-supervisor. The project is performed in a cooperation with Gentofte Ejendomme (Gentofte Municipality Buildings) and is co-financed by DTU (1/3), Forsknings- og Innovationsstyrelsen (Danish Agency for Science Technology and Innovation) (1/3), Gentofte Ejendomme (1/6) and CFM (1/6).
The scope of the project is to focus on how a municipality can include climate planning in the operation, development and maintenance of its buildings. The study is based on a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods, primarily interviews and dialogue.
